Will this package create a virtual serial port?

Will this package create a virtual serial port? I am looking for an application that will read data from a file, such as this product, and stream that data to a virtual serial port. I am trying to set up a simulation so my students can practice logging data with mobile computers.

Answer

This software is "Data Emulator" only and can't create virtual serial port. It can only feed data to an existing com port.

You can use this software together with our Virtual Null Modem software that can create virtual serial ports.
