 The program won't register

Problem

An endless loop of entering a serial number, then registering online, then it says to restart. It then forces me to activate the program again! Over and over. The program never runs.

Solution

1. Please verify that you've put the correct registration code on the final step. The correct code should look like:

-----BEGIN KEY------
pWu+/Gvb/7oGZp3XDQuPPQwagxadxuEWP/jy7YhN
... some lines skipped ...
Mga1JG1i3F8a+PGhrj705JyXFOTEOL7nJ27uoICbuaQDhDqP4QJo3NDEM=
---END KEY------

2. Please try to start the program with elevated administrator privileges (right-click over the program icon and select "Run as administrator") and activate again.

3. If it does not help, try to remove all registration data from your computer and repeat activation:

  1. Delete any *.key files from the program folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Program Name\ (if this file exists there).
  2. Start regedit.exe (Win+R, type regedit.exe, click OK).
  3. Delete old registration information (the "Key" value) from the following registry nodes (if it exists).
  4. Try to activate the program again.

On Windows 64-bit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\AGG Software\Program Name
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AGG Software\Program Name

On Windows 32-bit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AGG Software\Program Name
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AGG Software\Program Name

Windows 7 and later

Search for other "Program Name" registry nodes in the Windows registry and the "Key" value there. Modern Windows OS may create stealth registry nodes for new applications.
