Save data as shown in the window

Problem

Although I can view the serial port data on the screen as HEX....there seems to be no way to save it to a file as HEX. I tried for 20 minutes to configure this feature, and although I selected to save it as shown in the window, it did not. I need to save "55 AH 92 21..." (etc.) to the time-stamped file. The time stamping worked great and I was able to configure it just fine.

Solution

Please, set the following option:

Main menu - Options - Program settings - Files - Protocol files - Save to file as you see it on screen.
